Hey Product Hunt 👋 We built Rotty because our feeds stopped feeling like people. Reddit threads full of "Great question!", X replies that are just "this 🔥", LinkedIn posts about what a lunch break taught someone about B2B sales. Rotty is a guard dog for your feed. It reads each post and reply the way a person would and asks one question: is this substantive, or is it filler, bait or spam? If it's slop, it folds into a single quiet line that says why ("Hidden: Engagement bait"), and one click shows it anyway. It doesn't try to "detect AI". It judges substance, not who wrote it. A few things we cared about: • Free, with no account. Use your ChatGPT plan, a free Groq key, or Rotty Local, a small model that runs entirely in your browser. • Private. We run no server and have no analytics. With Rotty Local, nothing leaves your machine. • Tuned per platform. LinkedIn gets broetry, congrats comments and fake hiring farms. X gets reaction replies and thread bait. Reddit gets drive-by plugs and stealth marketing. Every type can be turned off. • It never hides silently.
