Took it for a spin and the local-only angle is genuinely refreshing, no surprise syncing or login popups. The keyboard shortcuts feel snappy and the one-time price is a nice change from the usual subscription grind.

how does it actually handle tab sync across devices if everything stays local?
@meralyarba57925 Great question. Roost is intentionally local-only, so it doesn't sync across devices — that's the tradeoff for privacy and no account. What you can do today is export any session to JSON and import into another device. Cross-device sync is the most-requested thing on my radar, and if I add it, it'll be optional and encrypted — never at the cost of the local-first default.
Does the $5 include future updates, or is it a one-time purchase for the current version only?
