When building frontend UI, I kept running into the same friction: design intent, structure, and code drift apart across tools. Even with great AI, you still end up setting up projects, switching contexts, and rebuilding the same components just to iterate on small ideas. Roopik started as an experiment to flip that workflow. Instead of files or prompts being the source of truth, the canvas is. Code is generated deterministically and efficiently, and previews stay live and in sync. This approach evolved during the build. I started with “AI‑generated components,” but realized the real value is semantic UI editing, not just more code generation. This alpha is early and opinionated, and I’m sharing it specifically to learn where this model helps and where it breaks.
