I remember the exact moment when the idea for Rook Links clicked.
I was managing content for multiple blogging pages and working with early-stage startups. Every day, the same frustration: we'd create a great Instagram post or reel, and someone would ask, "Where's the link?"
There wasn't one. Instagram doesn't give you a URL for each post. So we'd scramble, updating that single link in bio over and over, hoping people would click at the right time before we changed it again.
The startups I worked with couldn't justify spending thousands of dollars on existing link-in-bio tools. These were businesses watching every expense, and content creators hustling to build their audiences. The pricing just didn't make sense for them.
I thought: there has to be a better way.
That's when we started building Rook Links. We wanted to solve one specific problem, give every post its own link without breaking the bank. Clean, simple, modern. No complexity, no unnecessary features. Just a tool that works.
We built two core features: regular tiles for linking any content, and SHOP TILES where influencers and e-commerce businesses can showcase multiple products in one place. Each tile can hold multiple products. Each product can have its own redirect link. It's straightforward, but it changes everything.
Now when a startup posts on Instagram, they can share clickl.in/username, one unified bio link that stays consistent. Media agencies, news websites, content creators, they all get the same thing: a single destination that organizes everything they publish.
We've been using Rook Links ourselves, testing it, refining the experience. It works. The interface feels right. The workflow makes sense.
This is what we set out to build: a complete link-in-bio solution that startups, influencers, and businesses can actually afford. No thousands of dollars. No complicated setup. Just a clean tool that solves a real problem.
That's Rook Links.
