What do you think? …

Jason Sun

Really cool idea! Love how RizzCalc brings AI into Google Sheets for financial modeling. Can’t wait to try it out.

YG Yichen Guo

@jason_sun5 Yes thanks! pls give us some feedback :)

Chen Yu

@jason_sun5 Thanks Jason! Really appreciate the support from a fellow builder. The Google Sheets integration was crucial for us - we wanted to meet people where they already work rather than forcing them into another platform. Let me know how it works for your financial modeling needs!

YG Yichen Guo

@chen_yu Yes think we can consider Excel too in the future

Cruise Chen

Love how you can just type “create a DCF model” and RizzCalc builds it right into Google Sheets—saves me hours fiddling with formulas. Did you guys train it on specific finance templates?

YG Yichen Guo

@cruise_chen yes using many complex fin models

Wood Peng

Congrats on this launch! It's efficient to have AI operate on Google Sheets.

YG Yichen Guo

@peng_wood Thanks!

Wayne

Cograts on the launch! I believe RizzCalc will drive efficiency for investors and corporate financial managers. I wonder if RizzCalc will consider connecting to financial databases in the future, like Bloomberg or Reuters Eikon?

YG Yichen Guo

@wayne_appgrowing That's a great suggestion - I think Google sheets' main users are SMBs - wondering what databases they will use?

Chen Yu

@wayne_appgrowing Great question! Financial data integration is definitely something we're exploring for future versions. There are some interesting possibilities with various data providers - the challenge is always balancing data quality, real-time access, and keeping it accessible within the Google Sheets environment. We're currently evaluating different approaches and partnerships that could make this work seamlessly. What specific data feeds would be most valuable for your modeling workflows? Always helpful to understand user priorities as we plan our roadmap!

YG Yichen Guo

@chen_yu Yes - let's investigate the APIs

Yankun Zhao

Congrats on your launch! RizzCalc saved my life from having to learn Excel.

YG Yichen Guo

@yankun_zhao THanks Yankun!! Long time no talk - give us some feedback!

Chen Yu

@yankun_zhao Thank you so much! 😊 That's exactly what we hoped to achieve - making financial modeling accessible without the steep Excel learning curve. Would love to hear what specific use cases you're planning to try with RizzCalc!

YG Yichen Guo

@chen_yu Yes Yankun is in education - maybe there are use cases in there

Shawn Park

Oh, I think this is such a cool and refreshing concept for an AI product!

YG Yichen Guo

@shawn_park_f12 Yes would love for you to try it and give feedback :)

Mcval Osborne

Love the throwback vibes @yichen_guo1 , just downloaded.

Can the model connect to publicly available data online? What does it base assumptions off of in the Apple example?

YG Yichen Guo

@mcval_osborne For now, it's not connected to the internet, so users will need to input their financial assumptions :)

We think most people using G-sheets are SMBs, that are doing fin-model for their own companies

Mcval Osborne

@yichen_guo1 thanks for the quick response!
