I built riru because I loved the idea of Claude in Chrome, but found it too slow and expensive for something I wanted to use regularly. It could burn through usage limits pretty quickly too.
So I started building riru around three things: speed, cost, and accuracy.
I’ve spent a lot of time making the agent efficient enough that I can offer a decent amount of usage completely free.
This is the first usable version, and there’s still a lot I want to improve before I can say it’s truly better than Claude in Chrome. But it’s finally at a point where I’m excited to put it out there and see how people use it.
