I'm Romain, a solo developer, and Revealo is my daily picture puzzle.

The idea came from searching for similar games on the web, but finding nothing up to my expectations. I love daily games like Wordle, but almost all of them are about words, actors, movies, etc. I wanted one where you read a picture instead, so anyone can play, whatever their vocabulary.

How it works:

- Every day, 5 photos, the same for everyone, start zoomed in 8x

- Each wrong guess zooms out a little more: 8x, 5x, 3x, 2x, then the whole picture

- 4 guesses per photo, up to 500 points a day, a streak and a shareable result

- Endless Mode (hundreds of other photos) and an archive of past days if you want more

A few things I cared about:

- Real photographs from Unsplash, credited on every reveal. No AI-generated images.

- Free, in the browser, no account, no ads. Your progress stays in your browser.

- Small typos are forgiven, and the daily mix always goes 2 easy, 2 medium, 1 hard.
