The wrong email addressed was used to create the account. It is not possible to change it our self; we have to contact them to proceed with the change. The only contact information on the website is a ch@t that remained unanswered for days and still is, and an unusable email address. I even tried to email them from various domains, with our without attachment. It simply appears that this email doesn't exist. We can't remove our credit card information from their website and we can't reach anybody. After numerous and various attempts to fix this situation, our only recourse is to report them as fraud

@quentindty @shadihalloun Just been to a GDPR seminar hosted by Commercial Lawyers this morning. You advise "If cold emailing is at the core of your lead generation strategy, you can obtain consent by sending a consent form as your first outreach email. Make sure that email with a request for consent does not directly promote your commercial content and that it is targeted at the person you are sending it to" Earlier this year Honda were fined for doing exactly this (https://www.theregister.co.uk/20...). So, probably best to change the advice on your website...
