Hi everyone 👋, As someone who is camera-shy, when I learned about the technology that could teach AI to recognize a person's face, I knew it was time to finally achieve the perfect portrait I've always wanted! After months of experimentation, I successfully created a portrait that was so lifelike, not even my own mom could tell it was generated by AI. And thus, the first version of Retrato was born 📸. On first glimpse, Retrato may look like something you've already seen before. In fact, I've already tried multiple apps that generate AI-Avatars. However, upon downloading Retrato, I've found remarkable benefits that can't be found on any other portrait-generating apps. 1. Free promo code for Product Hunt users! - Idk where & how to input the Promo code though, clearer instructions on how to apply the code would be appreciated :) 2. DIY Style - I can stylize my portrait in any style I want using text. For other apps, I was given only pre-set options for my portrait 3. More realistic outputs - My complaint about other AI Avatar apps is that they look very Avatar-ish haha. They looked like a glorified version of me. Retrato gives me more realistic options than apps like SNOW It's so much fun to play with, I love it! ❤️ One question! Is the team working on a shorter processing time? If not, what is the prioritized development for the team right now?

YASSSSSS 👨🏼‍🎨 3. This one was a real tough one to crack, but when we passed the mums-test, that of our mothers not being able to tell the difference, we knew we were onto something great! Curious to hear more about what styles worked the best for you! We also have a prompt engineer working fulltime on populating some more so be sure to keep an eye on that explore section 👀 4. Yes! We are currently in the process of migrating our infrastructure which will increase our processing time from minutes to seconds and hours to minutes! Thank you for your patience in the meanwhile 🥹 As in for priorities, we're working on creating a massive database of styles, making it easier to create consistent and amazing results on custom styles by doing some magic prompt augmentation and getting the word out there about the app! @alexey_yar Hey Alexey! We are something pretty unique ⭐️. Lensa does squared AI Avatars like dozens of other apps out there! We do full-blown extraordinary portraits. Anything from photorealistic lifestyle portraiture, to 3D renders, to seeing yourself as a bar of soap, we have trained our own model to excel at portraiture photography, regardless of what the desired style is :-). Yesterday there was a viral post on Twitter saying: In the next 3 - 5 years, every single image in social media will be generated by AI. We are *that* product 😬
