ResumeMapper, an AI Chrome extension, tailors your resume to any job in 15 seconds. Open any job on LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. or any company career page → click the icon → get a tailored resume → export as PDF or DOCX. It's truly one-stop, you get a customized resume for the job without leaving the job site. Also, you have a chatbox where you can ask AI to modify and regenerate its previous version with any feedback. Furthermore, it ships with 3 resume templates and can export to PDF or DOCX
👋 Hey Product Hunt! I'm Jared — maker of ResumeMapper.
When you're job hunting in 2026, you're applying to 50+ roles a week, but HRs are expecting that each resume for each role should feel custom-crafted — not a copy-paste of your last resume for other companies.
But manual tweaking is exhausting. And copy-pasting into ChatGPT every time? A tab-juggling nightmare — with wildly inconsistent results and hard to format into PDF.
I hit this wall myself. 600+ applications, only 3 callbacks. Because my resume wasn't customized for each job.
So I built the tool I wished existed.
ResumeMapper is a free Chrome extension that tailors your resume + cover letter to any job in ~15 seconds, and you don't have to leave the job site during the whole process. It works on LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, BOSS直聘, etc. — plus any company career page.
**Three things I'd love feedback on:**
1. Do you like the generated resume and do you think it helps your job application process? 2. For non-tech resumes (marketing, finance, healthcare) — does it work as well? I mainly know tech recruiting. 3. I have 3 resume templates right now. Do you like the styling? What styles would you want next? (Creative / Executive / Academic?)
I'll be online all day replying to every comment. If you try it and something breaks, please tell me — I'd rather hear "this sucks because X" than a polite "looks great!" 🙏

One ask: when exporting to PDF, does the bullet styling survive? Most resume tools nuke the formatting on export. Curious if you've solved that.

@zhaohong_feng Hi Bro, yeah, the exporting PDF will have visual formatting and styling
