Resume ↔ Job Description Match Checker: See your resume's match score before you apply

Hey everyone 👋 A lot of applications get filtered by keyword-matching software before a person ever reads them — score too low against the posting, and a recruiter may never see the resume at all, regardless of how qualified the person actually is. I built Shortlist so you can check that match yourself before you apply. Paste the job description and your resume, and it shows you a weighted match score (terms the posting repeats count more), plus a ranked list of exactly which important terms are missing. It's phrase-aware too — "project management" gets checked as one skill, not two separate words. It's a single HTML file, no account, nothing uploaded — I didn't want a resume tool that needed your resume and a job posting (sometimes for a role you haven't told your current employer about) sent to a server. One honest limitation: it checks keyword alignment, which is one specific, narrow thing — not writing quality, not formatting, not whether you're actually qualified. It catches one real failure mode, not the whole job-search problem.
