Repsel is a free, open-source Markdown editor made specifically for Linux. It combines distraction-free writing, live formatting, mathematical notation, and polished PDF export. Your documents remain standard local Markdown files, with no account or cloud service required.
Repsel 1.1.0 “Red Baron” is here, only one week after the first public release.
This update introduces:
an automatic split view when you start writing;
three viewing modes: editor, split view, and preview;
configurable font family, size, and line spacing;
light and dark themes;
a complete Edit menu;
embedded local images;
improved scroll synchronization;
more reliable PDF pagination.
Repsel remains free, open source, local-first, and built specifically for Linux.
