Replace Cover is a little tool that enables anyone to create consistent cover arts for their Spotify playlists. Works with other music services too. Backstory: I'm a product designer who wanted to learn React.js, so I spent some evenings & a couple weekends learning, building & shipping this app over the course of 10 days. Should designers code?

@thejaybeewhy Hi Justin, Thank you! I constantly had a gazillion tabs opened with various Medium / blog articles, Stackoverflow threads and such. (this was day 5 or 6 and Chrome in jigsaw mode »» http://cl.ly/qVUZ) Redux was by far the hardest concept to grasp and required watching a couple videos too. Took me a good 2-3 days to finally understand what the heck I was doing there. Luckily for me, I kinda knew what / how to google. While I was a complete noob at React 10 days ago, I was vaguely familiar with some of the core concepts + have some experience tinkering with everything from Swift (built a stupid emoji game inspired by Blackbox to learn, not anywhere near shippable) to good old php, nodejs & Angular and setting up S3 & Cloudfront to serve a highly optimised static website + I’ve been doing HTML / CSS on and off for quite a few years now. #startuplife designer :) All together and according to Rescuetime, I think I spent around 40+ hours building this. Two long weekends and some nights. Hope this answer helps!

@raduceuca This was helpful. I've tried to learn in the past myself, but the React/Redux ecosystem has so many different pieces I wasn't sure where to start wrapping my head around it. Thanks for your response! I'm definitely going to use Replace Cover
