Very useful product we use on daily basis.
Pros:Helps with detailed cost analysis.
Cons:Some metrics not available for optimizations.
For integration i just visited there doc, which is so much clear and easy as well but before integration i connected with Dror. He has given me enough information and instructed me till integration got succeed. Every day i spend 20 mins in reOptimize to track my cost billings.
Just one suggestion if possible they can try having AWS also for billing or In GCP it self they can enable some high level monitoring which actually helps DevOps to have limited tools in their bucket.
Pros:1. Simple Integration
2. Simple and clean UI
3. Enough information to point the expense rate
4. New feature BQ usability adds more value
Cons:If they can add multilevel integration directly from UI
Provides a well organized break down of the cloud billing, and let's you drill into each category for more granularity.
Pros:Very well thought through
Cons:nothing that comes to mind
reOptimize was designed and built by DoiT International when they realised GCP customers are flying blind. No other solution provides detailed cost analysis, optimisations, budget management and Cost Allocations for GCP customers. Together with Google, DoiT decided to upload the product to Google Launcher so that the GCP community can benefit from it.
Pros:Free, easy, straight forward, DoiT free Support, reduces costs, recommendations. BigQuery and Compute optimizations
Cons:Pivot builder can be more intuitive
Using reOptimize since we moved to GCP. So much better at visualizing and understanding our ongoing costs.
Pros:Dashboard style presentation is great for understanding and slicing cloud costs. Simple and valuable
Cons:nothing really!!
