Most failed payment tools take credit for every payment that comes back after a card fails. But Stripe’s own Smart Retries recover a lot of those anyway, so it is hard to know what the tool actually added.
Renewvane measures it honestly. When a Stripe subscription renewal fails, it sends your subscriber up to four short, plain emails over nine days, under your company’s name, with a link to update the card. A random 15% of failed invoices get no email from us at all, and each monthly report compares the two groups in dollars.
