I am the founder of Renewables.org, the non-profit investing site I am building with one of Kiva.org creators. To make a long story short, we are adapting the Kiva model of global development through micro finance crowdfunding for Global South solar. Renewables.org is the online solar investing non-profit that allows anyone to accelerate the climate transition in the Global South. In minutes, you can purchase solar Panels where they do the most good. For as little as $25, Renewables.org is one of the most cost effective ways to create climate impact. We've already launched a great product, attracted hundreds of users, and now we are fundraising so we can professionalize and scale our organization. To date, we've had support from the Yale School of Management and TrueVentures.org.
