Hello Product hunt! I am Abhinav, founder of Remora. We built remoras to scratch our own itch. When we built our first SaaS, building was the easy part, getting our first 10 customers was painful! We tried cold outreach, reddit, linkedin, X and even ran google ads. SEO was slow and time consuming and not something as a developer i would like to do honestly. Problem? Mostly these platforms have low intent users. Finally when i reached out to a friend who had a SaaS a in similar domain, he promoted our product in customer onboarding emails and we got our first users! The hunch behind building remora was the fact that if my product is placed in front of high intent users who are already buying, have a credit card in their hands, they're much likely to appreciate it or at least give it a try.
