I built RemindMe because I kept missing things I'd actually set reminders for. The notification would fire, I'd swipe it away mid-task, and twenty minutes later it may as well have never existed. The app did its job. I didn't do mine. And it didn't care. So I made one that cares. Three things make it different: 1. It keeps reminding you until you mark the task done, then stops. Bounded, not infinite. 2. Each nudge is worded differently and gets more direct. Repeating the same notification five times just teaches your brain to ignore it; this way it can't. 3. You can add an accountability buddy. When your reminder fires, they get a short note saying you committed to it. If you don't finish it by your deadline, they get told. Nothing else. They don't need an account or an app. It runs as a PWA, so there's no app store and no install. Add it to your home screen, and you get real lock screen notifications. Free, no ads, and I'm not selling anyone's data; it's hosted on a server I pay for myself. I'd genuinely rather hear what's broken than what's good.
