Hey Product Hunt 👋
Two years ago a friend of mine was laid off in a company wide layoff. What followed was months of midnight careers-page refreshes, sending the same résumé fifty times, and quietly wondering whether her ask was too high, too low, or fine.
Relaunch is the tool I wish she'd had.
1. What it does: Every morning, Relaunch finds roles that actually fit you (from ATS boards + job APIs, not just aggregators), tailors your résumé + cover letter to each one, tells you what to realistically expect for salary vs your current CTC, and lands the whole batch in your own Google Sheet before you're done with coffee.
2. Under the hood: LLM reads every bullet on your résumé and calls out weak patterns (activities vs outcomes, missing metrics, buzzwords) you accept or skip each rewrite. A salary reality-check pulls live market data and shows you a realistic hike range for each role. A watchlist monitors specific companies you care about and flags the moment a role goes live. A weekly Boost brief tells you what post to share on LinkedIn and which recommendations to ask for.
3. What makes it different: Designed for someone going through the hardest chapter of their career. Empathetic tones. Plain language. One thing to do per day. Not another job board that assumes you're upbeat and hunting proactively.
4. Privacy: Almost nothing lives on our servers: your résumé, your matches, and your outreach notes all belong to you, in your Google Sheet. Delete your account, take everything with you.
I've been building this in public with a small early-access batch. Every feature above came from a specific conversation with someone in the middle of their search, not a roadmap doc.
What I'd love from PH today:
- If you (or someone close to you) has been through a layoff tell me what would have made your search less lonely. Genuinely.
- Roast the UX. The people using it are already dealing with enough; every friction removed matters.
Thanks for the space ❤

the referral feature is a really thoughtful touch, most job tools stop at matching but giving a name to actually reach out to shows you understand how hiring actually works.
