Refactyl is an AI-powered tool that automatically transforms messy, outdated codebases into clean, modern, production-ready projects. 🔁 Migrate frameworks (Express → Fastify, JS → TypeScript) 🧱 Improve structure for scalability & maintainability 🧹 Reduce technical debt without manual refactoring ⚡ Save hours of repetitive engineering work Built for developers dealing with legacy code who want to ship faster with confidence.

Really cool launch 🚀
Legacy refactoring is one of those things everyone has to do but nobody enjoys, automating framework migrations and structure cleanup is a huge win. Love the focus on reducing technical debt instead of just “code generation.”
Curious: do you plan to support more backend frameworks or frontend migrations next (e.g. React class → hooks, Next.js upgrades)?
Congrats on the launch!
@ram_jee_krishna Thanks a lot! 🙌
That’s exactly the problem we’re trying to solve—making necessary but painful refactors less manual and less risky.
Yes, expanding support is definitely on the roadmap. We’re actively exploring both backend framework migrations and frontend upgrades like React class → hooks and Next.js version upgrades, but right now the focus is on validating the core workflows with early users.
Really appreciate the feedback!
👋 Hey Product Hunt! I’m Yash, the maker of Refactyl.
Refactyl was born out of frustration with messy legacy code slowing down development. I kept spending hours refactoring instead of building features — so I built a tool to automate it.
What Refactyl does:
🔁 Migrates frameworks (Express → Fastify, JS → TypeScript)
🧱 Improves project structure for scalability
🧹 Reduces technical debt automatically
It’s built for developers working with legacy or fast-growing codebases who want production-ready projects without manual refactoring.
🚀 Refactyl is free for early users, and I’d love your feedback — especially on migrations you’d want to see next.
