Hi Product Hunt! I'm Jason, the maker of ReddigInsight.
What inspired me to build ReddigInsight was a research habit I kept seeing: when people explore a new product idea, market, or user pain point, one of the first places they check is Reddit. The challenge is not that Reddit lacks insight—it has plenty. The challenge is that the useful signals are scattered across communities, posts, comments, and long threads, so turning them into a clear research summary takes hours.
That was the problem I wanted to solve. Reading individual Reddit posts is useful, but it is not the same as understanding a defined set of relevant discussions. I wanted a workflow that could keep the research scope explicit—subreddit, keywords, time range, sort, and post limit—while still producing a structured report instead of a pile of links.
My approach evolved while building the product. The first version focused mainly on report generation. But after testing the workflow, I realized the most important step happens earlier: defining the right search parameters. That led to the AI Chat step, where users describe their research question and the assistant suggests a subreddit, keywords, time range, and post limit. The Dashboard then lets users review and edit those inputs before spending a credit.
The current workflow has three steps:
1. Define the research question in AI Chat.
2. Review and edit the subreddit search parameters on the Dashboard.
3. Generate a report with sentiment, themes, keywords, representative quotes, PMF and influence indicators, and action recommendations. Reports can be exported as HTML.
To be transparent, ReddigInsight is a commercial product. Every new account starts with 1 free report credit for 100 posts analysis per report.Paid plans analyze up to 300 posts per report.
A note on responsible use: reports are AI-generated research aids, not guarantees of market success. I'd still review the representative quotes and underlying public posts before making an important decision.
I'd love feedback from founders, marketers, product teams, UX researchers, and community researchers. What kind of Reddit research would you want to run first?
