Hey everyone 👋 I built Recto because I wanted something simpler than the usual form builders. You create a form, connect a Google Sheet, publish it and that’s it. Every response automatically becomes a new row in your spreadsheet, so you don’t need to export CSVs, move data around, or build another dashboard just to see your submissions. Recto is also open-source and self-hostable. There are plenty of powerful form builders out there, but many of them feel like they’re trying to become an entire business platform. I wanted something much simpler. That’s Recto. It’s MIT licensed, open-source, and you can run the whole thing yourself. The hosted version isn’t live yet, but you can try the demo today or self-host it with Docker.
