Recoup audits the refunds, credits and discounts that AI customer support agents promise on Shopify stores. It matches each promise in a closed ticket to Shopify orders and refunds and to Stripe refunds, and flags refunds promised but never issued, refunds issued twice or for the wrong amount, and credits outside the brand's policy.
Hi Product Hunt. We built Recoup for Shopify brands that let an AI support agent close refund tickets. The agent tells a customer "I've issued a full refund", the ticket closes, and nobody checks whether the money actually moved.
Recoup reads your closed tickets from Gorgias, Intercom or Zendesk, finds every refund, credit, discount or replacement the agent promised, and matches each one to your Shopify orders and Stripe payments. It flags promises that were never issued, issued twice, issued for the wrong amount, or outside your written policy, with the agent's exact sentence and the dollar amount on each. Matching is fixed rules, not a language model, and Recoup is read-only: it never issues or reverses a refund.
