REBOOKED
The Story Behind It
A founder's perspective on why Rebooked exists and how it got here.
QUESTION 01
What inspired you to build this?
I've always been close to the appointment business world — salons, clinics, consultants, personal
trainers. These are people who work incredibly hard to fill their calendars. And then life happens: a
client no-shows, a call goes unanswered, someone cancels an hour before. That slot is gone. That
revenue is gone. And more often than not, nobody follows up.
I kept seeing the same pattern everywhere. Brilliant, dedicated business owners — juggling every
part of their operation at once — with no time or system to chase those missed moments. The
money was walking out the door quietly, and nobody had built a simple, automated way to get it
back. That bothered me. A lot. So I decided to build it.
QUESTION 02
What problem were we trying to solve?
Appointment businesses lose thousands every month — not because of bad service, but because
of missed moments. A missed call that never gets returned. A no-show that never gets rebooked. A
cancellation slot that sits empty while someone on the waiting list would have jumped at it.
The problem isn't effort. Most of these owners care deeply about their clients. The problem is time
and systems — or rather, the complete lack of them when it comes to revenue recovery. I wanted
to build something that would handle all of that automatically, using SMS — the one channel
people actually respond to — without the business owner having to lift a finger. No complex
software to learn. No scripts to write. Just results.
QUESTION 03
How did the approach evolve during this launch?
Honestly, I started simple. Build the automations, connect the SMS, ship it. But the more I talked to
real business owners, the clearer it became: the tool had to earn its place before anyone would pay
for it. That shifted everything.
The 35-day ROI guarantee came directly from that realisation. If I can't prove the value inside a
month, I shouldn't be charging at all. Then came the Founder Client spots — because early, honest
feedback is worth far more than early revenue. And the pricing structure evolved to match how
these businesses actually think: not "here's another monthly expense," but "you only really pay
when you win."
That shift — from product-first to proof-first — changed how I built it, how I talk about it, and who
I'm building it for. It made Rebooked sharper. I think it made it better.
