I’ve been using RealEye in my academic research, and so far it’s been an outstanding experience. Here’s what I especially like:
The results are impressively detailed and flexible (heatmaps, gaze/fixation plots, AOIs metrics and even attention/emotion analysis are all available. This level of granularity really helps me dig deeper into my data.
The interface is also very intuitive, and setting up a study (with images, videos, mockups or live websites) is smooth and well guided.
Data export is easy and clean, I can pull raw and aggregated data to run further analyses.
What really stands out is the support team: prompt, friendly, and responsive. They’ve been understanding and helpful at every step.
I also appreciate that they seem to genuinely value students and researchers, giving flexibility when needed.
I’m excited to keep using RealEye as my thesis progresses, it’s helping me produce better, more insightful results. Highly recommended for anyone doing UX, marketing, or academic eye-tracking work.
