Rajniti is an India-based open-source civic tech platform bringing absolute transparency to Indian politics. Built to bypass fragmented sources and make unfiltered civic data accessible to everyone.
Hi everyone,
I am Sachin Kr. Shukla, Co-builder behind Rajniti App.
When looking at the Indian political landscape from a first-principles perspective, the fundamental bottleneck is not a lack of information. The real issue is the severe fragmentation and inaccessibility of that data. Voters should not have to parse through unstructured PDFs or heavily biased sources to understand who represents them.
We built Rajniti to solve this exact structural problem. It is an open-source platform that aggregates and standardizes data on Indian MPs and MLAs. The system covers everything from political history and education to criminal records and Lok Sabha performance.
The goal was straightforward: build a transparent, scalable system that puts unfiltered facts directly into the public domain. No noise, just the data.
We are live and open-source. I would appreciate your feedback on the data pipeline, the presentation layer, and any pull requests you would like to submit to the repository. Let us make civic data accessible.
