First of all: the app is great. It's simple and stylish.
But the pricing doesn't make much sense. There is a Pro version which costs €19 and there is a year subscription for the free app for €15. Why would i pay yearly €15 when there is also a €19 version?
But the biggest question is; why would I pay this big amount in the first place? I would, and I think with me many other users, pay happily a couple of € or $ for an app. Or even yearly. If, and only if, it is a really great app.
But this is not a couple of €/$. And I honestly believe that in the end you would earn more, when you price your app more moderately.
I will use it now a couple of times. Then I will get bothered by the ads or limitations and then I will probably delete it.
I would consider buying it when it would cost €5. I'd buy it without hesitation when it would cost €3.

@joid Thank you. The €19 is a one time fee and therefore is higher, it doesn't have to be by much. The radio market is saturated and there are many cheap and free options out there. It's up to the user to decide if he enjoys the app and uses it enough to justify this expense. For an app that is used on a daily basis it's still a reasonable price to pay. Having said that, The app _has_ been offered for lower prices before and hopefully it will be offered for lower prices soon.

I know this is hard to monetize, but I don't think this is worth the $15 a year the creators are looking for. TuneIn lets me do what this does for free. I won't be paying a subscription for an interface.
Hi everyone!
After years of meticulous testing, debugging and scaling, I’m happy to post RadioApp on PH. This version is the younger, lighter and free version of RadioApp Pro (https://goo.gl/tx1eQt) that has been the test bed for the past few years.
This project started when I was looking a radio app for my dad. It turned out most radio apps, as simple as they were supposed to be - were too cluttered and too complicated to use. I set out a goal to design and develop the “right” solution for this problem and RadioApp is the result.
My approach for developing and designing apps is to simplify the experience as much as possible, stripping away any potential user facing complexities. This means also obscuring all features that are not vital _without_ hurting their accessibility. RadioApp was no exception.
The “frequency slider” is my favorite part. It will only show and magnet relevant frequencies. …And you can add multiple countries (!) at the same time, which is a completely unique and funky experience to discover radio stations, as it appears.
In the end, this semi-skeuomorphic design made the app a much more predictable apparatus. For example, opening the app and having it auto-play seems natural and just right.
Other “hidden” features you might want to be aware of: Favorites sync to iCloud. Favorites can be accessed via Force Touch, or from Spotlight. If a station’s URL stops working, you can be notified when it comes back.
I’d love to hear your feedback or answer your questions!

A lot of effort for Belgium to be made... major radios are not playing. I will keep using radioplayer.be
Thanks @asatwork we're continuously collecting radio stations through the app (you may have noticed that) so it's a matter of time. Hopefully all stations will be covered sooner than later.

I have used one month for this app. It's really very simple to use.
Below list of channels Famous in India(Chennai). I tried my end not coming any singles. Please let us know if any issue from my end.
Radio City 91.1 MHz.
Aahaa FM 91.9 MHz (Kumudam Publications)
Big 92.7 92.7 MHz (Anil Dhirubai Ambani Group)
Suryan FM 93.5 MHz (Sun Network)
Radio One 94.3 MHz (Mid-Day)
Radio Mirchi 98.3 MHz (Times Group)
Gyan Vani (IGNOU) 104.2 MHz.
FM Gold (AIR) 105.0 MHz.
The design is elegant, and it just remind me of using old radio with my grandpa when I was small. Radio discovering should always be like an adventure that you can change to next station as you dont know actually what it will be. I enjoyed different languages from all over the world without knowing what they say. They are such good moments in my life.
For the price, I think it definetly ok to purchase a good app for over HKD$100 at one time. Just think about how much we can pay for Apple music, Tidal and Spotify. I think this App actually provide more pleasure for me than those normal music app can do.
