Hey, Product Hunt community! My name is Stefan, and I'm a hobby cyclist who loves competing in local amateur races. Like many of you, I'm a bit of a data nerd. After every race, I'd diligently open my huge Excel spreadsheet to log my results. The problem was, I could never really compare apples to oranges. How do you objectively compare a 5th place finish in a small local race with a 50th place in a massive one? My spreadsheet just wasn't cutting it. So, I decided to build the solution I wished existed: RaceLog.pro. It's a simple, free web app designed to automatically calculate key metrics that spreadsheets make difficult: 📊 Percentile Rank (%): Instead of just looking at your position, it shows you exactly what percentage of the field you beat. 🏔️ Elevation Factor (EF): It gives an objective "difficulty score" to any course, so you can finally compare your performance on hilly vs. flat races. 🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Sport-Specific Metrics: It automatically shows Average Speed for cycling and Pace for running. I also wanted a clean space to separate my key races from all my training rides, something that other platforms don't always do well. The project is still in its early stages (Beta), and I built it entirely with Laravel and Tabulator.js. It's completely free to use.
