What inspired you us build this? Having started my journey as a freelancer myself, building Qwego feels like a true full-circle moment. Freelancing gave me independence and opportunity, but it also exposed some deep structural problems in the ecosystem. I experienced firsthand how difficult it was to manage projects, organize communication, and maintain professional workflows without proper tools. What should have been empowering often became chaotic. More importantly, there was always an underlying question of trust. Freelancers worrying about getting paid, and clients worrying about reliability. That gap between talent and trust became the core inspiration behind Qwego. I wanted to build the platform I wish existed when I started freelancing. What problem are we trying to solve? The freelancing industry has grown rapidly, but two major problems remain: 1. Project Management Chaos Freelancers and clients struggle with scattered conversations, unclear deliverables, and inefficient collaboration. Qwego addresses this by providing structured workspaces and organized project environments that simplify execution and accountability. 2. Payment & Trust Ambiguity One of the biggest drawbacks in freelancing is payment insecurity on both sides: Freelancers fear unpaid work. Clients fear poor delivery. Qwego solves this through: Escrow-based payments that protect both parties. Review-driven credibility, ensuring accountability. A strong vetting philosophy aimed at building a marketplace where trust is not optional but foundational.
