It says "Pre-order" but when you read the terms and conditions it says that it's a non-refundable contribution. That's very misleading, and is likely a scam.
@_lcky Not sure why that would be considered not OK? That's sounds like a pre-order. It's not on Kickstarter with a goal, but as always, buyer beware.

@kristofertm sorry I should have been more specific. Their terms say -
"The contributors acknowledge and understand that their contribution is a non-refundable funding of the Silent Partner Project and they agree that in event that, despite all efforts, Silent Partner is not able to complete the project, it shall not be obligated to refund and of the backers for the amounts provided by them to Silent Partner."
So the contribution is just giving them funding with no promise of a product. A pre-order is a promise to actually deliver a product.
@_lcky I get you, that doesn't sound very warm and fuzzy. I'll have to check Kickstarter's terms, but I don't believe the guarantee you'll get the product. I've had more than one not ship, so I don't think you're getting any more protection from this than you are KS. I do know that KS tries to vet the projects before they go live, so that is a bit of added security.
