I built QuickRead AI after a friend stopped supporting a similar product he had built. The truth is, I'm a slow reader and probably have ADHD; thus, reading long content is extra painful for me.
In addition, most of the content is unnecessarily verbose or uses complex language (e.g. legal docs). I wanted a tool that helps me get the gist of any webpage in seconds.
I use this tool daily to give me an unfair advantage and learn faster. My goal in life is to create more, reducing unnecessary consumption and speeding up learning helps.
Love to see how you use this tool 😊.
@fscholz Great question, I use it for everything. Daily I use it for writing code, instead of reading boring long Github threads, I just ask for the tl;dr; for the plugin.
I use it for stocks research, like "why is AMD down today by 7%?". Instead of reading Reddit or Twitter I just ask for the summary.
I even use it for tax code lookups.
Excited to find out more scenarios people use it. One requested feature was Youtube summaries I'll be adding after launch
@dominiksumer you should 😊. I've been using it to speedup dev, no more looking at long Github threads when ChatGPT / CoPilot fails to help you solve an error message. Also great for market research and general learning
@teddyni Thanks so much 😊. Top two would be: Github and Reddit. Not having to read long discussions is such a relief.
I've even used it on StackOverflow to find out should I use "webpage" or "web page" in marketing copy. Got it to work on PDFs recently (still need to fix for local PDFs but remote ones work), so papers about AI would be great too.

Wow, congrats on the launch, Michael. I am pretty sure that many people will find your product useful. It saves time and attention.
This looks like an interesting tool.
Will for sure be a massive time saver, particularly for consuming docs,
or unnecessarily verbose content.
Keep going, Michael
@dan_copy thanks so much 😊. Yeah and it is tax season, so you can use it for that

Congrats on the launch, Michael! Quick summaries when you don't feel like reading or just figuring out if one wants to read in detail what's given on the webpage after having a quick look at the gist sure is super helpful!
Great product Michael. @michael_yagudaev congrats! looking forward to seeing QuickReadAI make Product of the Day!
I've been playing with it all week. .. awesome work
@olu_adedeji Thanks so much Olu 😊. Love seeing how you used it to narrow down interesting companies from a venture perspective. So cool to see use cases I never considered before
