A few months ago, I found myself spending hours replying to the same DMs on Instagram—“link?”, “price?”, “how does it work?”—over and over. It wasn’t just time-consuming, it was draining. I realized I wasn’t the only one. Creators, coaches, small brands… we were all stuck in the same loop. So I built QuickDM—not just to automate replies, but to make those replies feel personal. I wanted something that could respond instantly when someone comments, DMs, or mentions you, but still sound like you. Not a bot. Not a template. You. The process was messy at first. I tried a bunch of approaches before landing on a visual flow builder that lets you design conversations like you’d map out a story. Add buttons, match keywords, guide people through your content—without losing your voice. QuickDM is for anyone who’s tired of copy-pasting the same message 50 times a day. It’s for creators who want to scale without sounding robotic. It’s for people who care about connection, but also care about their time. Thanks for checking it out. Would love your thoughts and feedback!

QuickDM looks handy for creators drowning in “link?” DMs. Curious tho how do you handle edge cases where keywords match but intent’s different, like sarcasm or typos? Any guardrails so it doesn’t go off-script and annoy people?

@amitpsharma Really good question! On the spam front: We have rate limiting built in—if someone comments 3+ times on the same post, we stop sending DMs. Prevents loops and people abusing it.

For keywords: You can set exact vs. partial matches, so "link" triggers but "linking up later" doesn't. We always tell people to test their keywords first before going live.

The sarcasm/typo thing: Yeah, this is honestly the hardest part. Keyword matching can't read tone perfectly yet. Our recommendation? Stick to super clear, high-intent keywords like "price" or "info" rather than vague ones. For weird edge cases, you'll still want to check your DMs manually.

We're looking at AI-based intent detection down the road, but right now we'd rather keep things simple and predictable than try to be too clever and mess up. The goal is handling the repetitive stuff so you can focus on real conversations.

Everything's logged too, so you can pause anytime if things feel off. Appreciate you asking this—it's exactly the balance we're trying to get right!
