Quibl is a private clipboard manager for macOS. Open it with one shortcut, search copied text, links, and images, pin important clips, and reuse them in seconds. Your history stays on your Mac in an encrypted database—no account, sync, or telemetry.
👋 Hey Product Hunt! I’m Saurav, the maker of Quibl.
Quibl is a clipboard manager for macOS built around two ideas: finding something you copied should be instant, and your clipboard history shouldn’t become another cloud dataset.
With Quibl, you can:
Open your clipboard history from any app with a global shortcut
Search copied text, links, and images
Pin important clips so they stay within reach
Transform text with case conversion, Base64, URL, hex, and HTML entity tools
Keep everything locally in a SQLCipher-encrypted database
Quibl doesn’t upload or sync your clipboard history. There’s no account requirement and no usage telemetry. It may connect to check for signed software updates, but clipboard contents aren’t included in those requests.
The current version is free and supports macOS 13 Ventura or later. It keeps up to 500 clipboard items for 30 days and is distributed as a signed and notarized Mac app.
I’d especially love feedback on:
How quickly you can find and reuse an older clip
Whether the menu-bar and keyboard workflow feels natural
What you’d most like to see in the next version
You can download Quibl at quibl.app.
I’ll be here throughout the launch to answer questions. Thanks for checking it out!
