I built this to scratch my own itch! I hated making videos, I struggle to follow a script and keep to the time. So as a techie....I built a tool to solve that. Then I saw the potential to re-humanise the world of work, instead of anti-human surveys and resumes that remove the human from the equation, we can have structure AND humanity. So now I want to see this being used to build and maintain talent pools of candidates for companies - answering questions that help companies discover actual fit vs trying to determine suitability from a PDF. This will safe companies time and money and help them find better candidates and help candidates find companies that really see them. There are so many other uses - customer testimonials, UX research, short form documentary film, journalism. With the use of AI , we can ask better questions, analyse the responses and uncover more that we knew before.

Since this product launch, I have been approached by 4 'hunters' on LinkedIn basically offering me to pay for upvotes and comments. When @rrhoover launched this in 2013 its was a brilliant community of people who genuinely loved discovering things and sharing them and advocating for products they loved. When I joined in 2015, this was still the spirit and it helped with our first product Amazemeet. But something broke along the way and I hope it gets fixed (I'm not sure how but happy to have a go). When the spectre of cheating raises its head (yes, that is what buying upvotes and comments is - cheating), it throws everyone in doubt. I look at the leaderboard today and I wonder if they bought their upvotes? I hope they didn't, but I cannot help but wonder. And none of us should have to wonder that. I searched a couple of the people who approached me and I see their upvotes and I wonder whether they were paid and , if they were, then it really makes a nonsense of the platform and that makes me sad. @producthunt I'm willing to explore how this gets tackled.
