Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built QRepair after noticing a recurring problem: too many professionals—plumbers, HVAC technicians, and electricians—lose recurring business simply because their contact stickers on a boiler or electrical panel fade away, or because customers inevitably lose the paper service logs. When an emergency happens, the customer shouldn't have to struggle to find who installed the system or when the last check-up was. QRepair aims to fix this by bridging the gap between physical assets and digital records. It’s a lightweight, open-source tool to: Generate unique QR codes for any equipment. Keep a digital, scannable history of every repair or maintenance. Ensure the technician's contact info is always just one scan away. I’m sharing this as an open-source project because I believe every independent professional and small maintenance business should have access to simple, modern tools without expensive subscriptions.
