Pumpr is an AI coach that has read every set you've ever logged. Ask "what should I do today?" and it answers from your real history, picks weights off your true e1RM (never a step back), and builds your workout in chat. Voice + Apple Watch. Free.

Hey PH — Maker of Pumpr here.
Every workout app I tried treated me like a stranger. Open it, get "Bench 3x8" — the same suggestion it gives a complete beginner and someone who benches 315. None of them actually looked at what I'd been doing.
So Pumpr's whole idea is a coach that has read every set you've ever logged, and reasons from it before it says a word:
- Ask "what should I do today?" → it answers from your real data ("your chest is at ~1.6 sets/week while your back is at 11.7 — let's do a push day"), not a canned split.
- Every weight it picks comes from your real e1RM, so it never tells you to go backward. My 185x10 puts me at a 247 e1RM, so it targeted 210x6 — a real PR, not a guess.
- You can argue with it. I asked it to swap overhead press for incline; it pulled up that I hadn't trained incline since March (stuck at 130x8), agreed it was the smarter move, and rebuilt the whole session.
- Mid-workout, ask between sets and tap "+ Add" to drop its pick straight into your session, weight and reps pre-filled.
It's also voice-first (log hands-free), syncs to Apple Watch, and your training data is never sold or used to train AI. It's free — no subscription, no paywall.
Honest bit: I'm a solo founder running a team of AI agents that write and review most of the code while I steer the product.
AMA — what would make you actually trust an app's programming suggestions over your own?
