Undocumented APIs are a nightmare. No docs, no source code — just a black box you have to figure out. Paste a few input/output examples and ProtocolSense reverse-engineers the hidden rules inside — with confidence scores and evidence — in seconds. Plain English works too. Export to TypeScript, Python, Zod, or OpenAPI. Free to start.
I built ProtocolSense after spending way too long staring at an undocumented API with a deadline looming. No docs, no source code - just input/output examples and guesswork.
So I built a tool to eliminate the guesswork.
Started as a Gemini API Developer Competition project, then rebuilt it properly using Claude Code, Groq, and Supabase. The speed difference after switching to Groq was immediately noticeable — analyses that felt slow now feel instant.
Would love feedback from anyone who's dealt with legacy systems or black-box integrations. What was the most painful part? Did you find a workaround that worked?
Happy to answer any questions about how it's built or where it's headed. 🙏
