I created PocketProof because I travel a lot — and like many travelers, I often found myself carrying important documents in ways that didn’t feel fully safe or convenient. I wanted an app on my phone where I could store things like my ID, passport scans, travel documents, or even a photo of a card with a password written on it — without ever worrying about them being synced to the cloud, uploaded somewhere, or handled by anyone else. I wanted full control, no hidden backups, and no third-party access. So PocketProof was born: a simple, secure place where every file is encrypted, and only I decide what goes in and out. No servers, no cloud storage — just strong encryption and easy access whenever I need it. It lets me travel with peace of mind, knowing my sensitive documents are protected but always at my fingertips.
