Promptur is an iOS app that helps professionals record short, confident talking-head videos — without a script. Instead of staring at a teleprompter or blanking on what to say, you swipe through prompt questions built for your world: real estate, law, entrepreneurship, fitness, finance, or just life. The question appears. You answer it. One tap to record, one tap to share. No rehearsing, no editing, no excuses. Turning the hardest part of video content into the easiest part of your day.

I spent years helping businesses make videos. Good cameras, proper lighting, real budgets. And the number one thing that killed shoots — every single time — wasn't the gear. It was the moment someone sat down in front of the lens and went blank.
They knew their business cold. They could talk about it for hours over coffee. But the second the camera was on, the words disappeared.
I watched this happen with executives, realtors, lawyers, coaches — smart, articulate people who genuinely had something to say. The problem was never ability. It was the blank slate. Nobody told them what to talk about first.
Promptur is the question that gets you started. Instead of a script or a teleprompter, you swipe through AI-generated prompt questions built for your world. A realtor gets asked about the neighbourhood no one's talking about yet. A founder gets asked what they wish they'd known in year one. You already know the answer — you just needed someone to ask.
I built it as a non-technical founder, in public, from scratch. It's live on the App Store now and I'm just getting started. Would love to hear what you think.

The swipe to record flow is genuinely smooth and the question prompts feel tailored, not generic. Wish I'd had this when I was avoiding video for my listings.

The swipe-to-question flow is genuinely clever. It removes that awful "what do I even say" freeze before you hit record, which is usually where most people bail on video entirely.

The swipe-based prompts actually take the awkwardness out of recording, which is usually the part I dread. Liked how quick it was to pick a niche and just start talking.
