When you prepare welding documentation on a daily basis in metal manufacturing, sooner or later you run into the exact same issues: • The client sends only a PDF drawing without marked welds (or without any symbols at all). • Selecting the appropriate WPQR (EN ISO 15614-1) for an individual weld takes too much time. • Constantly checking which welder holds a valid certificate according to EN ISO 9606-1 for a specific joint type. • Preparing WPSs according to EN ISO 15609 that satisfy the standard while remaining practical for the guys on the workshop floor. • Finally, compiling everything—drawings, WPQRs, WPSs, certificates, and NDT reports—into a single combined file. Because these challenges were consuming an incredible amount of time, the Prokon.si platform was created out of real-world workshop needs.
