As makers we revel in creating stuff. We don't tend to be great at documenting and sharing our work. When I started posting things I'd built (software, furniture, buildings, machines, food forests) I struggled to find a good cohesive way to display these 'projects'. I would post finished pictures on social media. I tried blog posts on my blog. Both sort of worked, but ultimately they got lost in the ether, and failed to help me see the full body of my work in the way I wanted to share it with others. That's why I built Project Pages, 7 years ago! That first version was a quick WordPress plugin that I spun up in my spare time to let me post consistent project updates on my blog. It sat there, working, for 7 years until 2024. I've now totally rebuilt the plugin using modern WordPress features such as blocks and block templates. For me this build has been a massively self-reflective journey. By rebooting Project Pages I made myself upload all of the projects that were sat in my phone photo reel, and in doing so realised the real mission I have for Project Pages. It's more than just getting you to actually upload project build 'posts'. It's more than making sure you share these on social channels. It's also about connecting the dots of your work. Having just uploaded 51 projects to my own 'Project Pages' I now look back with mixed feelings. I feel proud that I've explored what's excited me, learned lots of skills and made several cool things. I also feel a little dismayed at the undisciplined way I've approached choosing what to make. I've since shared these projects on reddit and found appreciation, feedback, community, and lols where I never would have before. Today I'm releasing Project Pages 2.0 as a free WordPress plugin, (with a small pay-what-you-want PRO version). I'll continue to develop it until it's the best 'maker' sidekick you can have. I think there's lots of value I can add here, and I'd love for you to join me on the journey. Project Pages is a genuine love letter to those others out there who make things. I hope it helps you better share your work, reflect on what you've made, find community and audience, and chart your craft forward towards greater creations. Here's to making cool stuff 🚀 (P.S. I'm really excited to see what you've made put into Project Pages, whether it's neat websites, high-contrast photographs, robots, rockets, tapestries or apps. I think there's a lot of scope for different use cases, and I'd love to hear what you'll use this to post!)

A great tool for showcasing the entire journey of your projects, not just the end results.
