Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Profile Finder to make username and email research a little less frustrating.
Checking the same username across dozens of websites manually gets tedious pretty quickly. There are some great open-source OSINT tools out there, but not everyone wants to install software or deal with command-line tools just to run a search.
So I wanted to make the process accessible directly from a browser.
Here's what Profile Finder currently offers:
Username checks across 2,518 configured sources in 17 categories.
Email registration checks across 168 services.
Detailed results with source links and raw responses.
Clear visibility into failed, unknown, and incomplete checks.
Privacy Mode to avoid saving scans to your Profile Finder history.
One thing I care about is being transparent about the results. A matching username doesn't necessarily mean two accounts belong to the same person, and a failed check shouldn't be treated as "not found."
The tool is free to use, and I'm continuing to improve it.
I'd love to hear your feedback, especially if you work with OSINT or want to understand your own digital footprint.
What would make a tool like this more useful for you?
