Product Validation Checklist

Hey there, what happend to your checklist? Just came across this two year old ProductHunt Page and was wondering wha the website is no longer active? The idea sounds great.

Pros:

Clear, precise, actionables tips and insights

Cons:

Some parts are repetitives but it's due to the process so it's ok (E.g.: Create a small MVP & Iterate on MVP)

I was an early adopter of this, and I'm about a quarter of the way through it. So far it's been an insightful reality check on my new product planning. It's helping me set expectations and uncover aspects I hadn't considered, giving me time to solve them now rather than post-launch when it's too late.

Pros:

Helpful, Easy to follow and understand, action-oriented

Cons:

No major ones. Since it's a new system, there's still a bit of UI polishing to do.

Evaluating product ideas is hard! And it's something you often do totally alone. When you fall in love with an idea, it's so tempting to skip the important stuff you should do to evaluate it. With the checklist, it's like I have Justin always tapping me on the shoulder "Did you define your audience?" "Is this a business you want to work on a year from now?" I wish I'd had this years ago.

I also like how the checklist isn't just a book or course, but it's about applying the concepts and helping me do the work of proving my ideas and planning them well. It's a tool, not just education.

Practical & actionable. Lots of depth, reusable.

Cons:

None that I can think of

I've been a follower of Justin's material for a while. It never disappoints! This checklist is a great way to not just build a product, but to understand why/how it should be built and the dynamics surrounding that question.
