This is a dream come true. As non fun fact, the Agile Manifesto was created 20 years ago by a group of 14 white male engineers before internet, social media, or smartphones existed... It's time for a refresher;) I’m so proud of the diverse group of Product Leaders, top product-led companies, and thousands of members of the Product School community who helped us co-create a list of 10 principles that will help people build the next generation of digital products.

This is very exciting to see and I look forward to watching it evolve as it gets out into "the real world". Long overdue for the industry. Kudos to the Makers and rest of the team! Coming from Customer Success/Experience (i.e. not a PM) this is particularly instructive as I figure out how best to collaborate with Product -- something we do and should do ooooooften! On this note, I'm especially interested in Principle #10: "Create a cross-functional team to focus on specific problems and enlist diverse perspectives that represent your users and stakeholders." Part of me can't help but want to see the "Customer" mentioned more explicitly in some places. I see "User" and, of course, it's implied that the customer is at the root of each Principle in some way or another -- but more explicit, intentional grounding in the Customer (or User, if we're using that term interchangeably or more broadly) would seem helpful. We know our efforts can stray even with best intentions ; ) Regardless, I've already read through a few times and shared with others. Really look forward to figuring out the tactics together and evolving! Stay safe and sane, all! Take care! Russ
