This is brilliant work... several months ago I registered the domain abandonware.tech with the intention of making a website to track my favourite abandoned projects... didn't get around to it, but so glad to see it manifest out there :)
This is fun and it could be super-useful. I'd love to do some analysis of this data set, correlating against Crunchbase data (sector, funding, etc) to see what could be learned and applied to future startups.
Pros:
Nostalgic AND educational.
Cons:
Not a con really, but I'd like to see this MVP evolve. Great start!

Added Zune for you - RIP 😢 Also a date picker on some questions might help out with you parsing all the suggestion data!
This is excellent! I used to reserve the farthest-right screen on my phone for these apps, and actually called it my "App Graveyard." I'll have to go back and find some of those, to submit autopsies... Gowalla, Path, Color, Songza. I miss yoooooooou 😭

A pretty good place to find all the products that are dead.
Reading the stories why they've been shut down is a great validation to teams who build similar products.
PS: Now might be a right time for a few.

Every Product Manager and Product Owner must remind themselves that their product must meet customer needs or will become obsolete. It's not necessarily about more features. It's about if the customers can use them with ease.
Pros:
Definitely worth learning from the good products that were killed
