I've been playing with this game for a few days. I LOVE the design. Simple, clean and elegant. Last night I just paid the $1.99 upgrade, which improved the experience.
Thought this said airplane simulator and was really confused when I downloaded the app! This is amazing though, such beautiful design! How did you learn how to be such a great designer in the first place?
@davechenell I used to work in mobile gaming and am very familiar with the challenges of getting attention in such a crowded space. How are you marketing Powder?
@rrhoover Honestly we got really lucky and got featured by Apple in a bunch of countries. Right now we don't really have a marketing strategy, still working on it. You're right it is very competitive. Right now we are just trying to make nice things and hope people notice :)
Certainly gave me a bit of nostalgia this morning, great work on the game. Have you thought of adding some sort of alternative game play based on time instead of distance? For instance; how far can you get in 30 seconds? Or how quickly can you reach 1000 meters?

I have a few new gamemodes planned.
- Slalom (speed + gates)
- Course (time trials on specifically made courses)
- Maybe one day freestyle course with jumps?
Good suggestion on a purely time mode. That would be an interesting one, just 30 seconds of chaos!
This game is awesome, and definitely captures some of the magic of carving turns. Even when you hit a rock and smash into pieces, it's oddly satisfying.
