When I was applying for jobs and networking with people online, I kept running into the same problem: resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and traditional portfolios are static. A recruiter might spend 30 seconds scanning a page and never fully understand the projects, decisions, challenges, and impact behind the work. The information exists, but it isn't easy to explore. I started building PortfolioOS to solve that. Instead of creating another portfolio builder, I wanted to create a portfolio that could actually talk. Upload a resume, connect LinkedIn or GitHub, and PortfolioOS generates a professional website with an AI assistant trained on your experience. Visitors can ask questions about your projects, skills, background, and accomplishments just like they would in a real conversation. The product evolved quite a bit during development. It started as a simple AI resume tool, but the more I worked on it, the more I realized the bigger opportunity was helping people create a complete professional presence for the AI era, one that is interactive, discoverable, and capable of explaining itself.
