Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Popli because I kept noticing the same problem on both sides. Friends who run cafes and wine bars want to host events — live music, popup dinners, creative workshops — but have no reliable way to find and book local talent. They rely on word of mouth, Instagram DMs, and a lot of luck. And talented locals — musicians, chefs, influencers — are constantly looking for paid opportunities at venues that fit their vibe, but have no centralised place to find them. The platform connects both sides: businesses post event requests, talent applies, businesses shortlist. Simple. We're starting with musicians because live music is the most universal way a venue creates an atmosphere people want to come back to. But the infrastructure supports any talent category — influencers, popup chefs, workshop hosts are next. This is an early version. The core flows work: post an event, apply, shortlist.
