Snap a photo of your dog’s poop → Get a simple health grade → Track changes → Know what to do next. Photos stay on your device. PoopDog doesn’t replace a veterinarian, but it helps you stop guessing between visits — and act with confidence.

Meet PoopDog — an AI-powered app that helps dog owners spot digestive issues early.
You take a quick photo, the app grades the stool’s health, and you can track changes over time. It also lets you log mood, appetite, and activity so you get a fuller picture of your dog’s wellbeing.
Everything is privacy-first — photos stay on your device. As someone who’s had a few “is this normal?” moments with my own dog, I think this can save unnecessary vet trips and give you confidence between visits.
I built PoopDog after too many “is this normal?” moments walking my dog.
Digestive issues are common, but most of us guess — PoopDog fixes this.
What it does
- Gives instant AI analysis from a quick photo
- Provides clear grades: Healthy, Monitor, Vet Advised
- Daily logging for mood, appetite, treats, activity
- Trends and alerts so you catch changes early
- Clean reports you can share with your vet
- Privacy first — photos stay on your device
Why it matters
Early digestive signals are visible, but easy to miss. Consistent checks help you act sooner and avoid unnecessary panic — or delay.
What’s under the hood
Computer vision tuned for stool characteristics (consistency, color, visible anomalies) and mapped to veterinary-style criteria.
Try a scan and tell me where the result or guidance feels unclear.
And of course share pictures of your dogs! 🐶 Here's Lisa:

Congrats on the launch, and thank you for caring about the world’s pups <3
Haha I like the dog’s face expression, like “Stop photographing my poop”

@whimsyrum Honestly curious if this actually works 🤣 can AI really differentiate health issues? Also ngl, desperately need a cat version lol
