Hello there, Product Hunt! I built pooml for an app I run in production, for two reasons. I wanted logs and metrics that are easy and cheap to set up and run. And I didn't want to learn yet another query language: SQL is something every developer already speaks, so pooml is SQL all the way down. Even the metrics shortcut in the video just writes SQL you can read and edit. That also means your AI assistant speaks it. With the MCP server, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any MCP client can query your pooml for you. Ask "what broke last night?" and it writes the query. It's read-only, and off until you turn it on. pooml is small on purpose, and I plan to keep it that way. It's a good fit if you value simplicity over features.
